 Communications and Development Officer

Under the supervision of the President, and in collaboration with the other members of the Board of Directors, the incumbent assumes the tasks related to communications and the development website social medias.

Responsibilities

– Participate in increasing the organization’s presence on social media (Facebook, Twitter,

– LinkedIn and Instagram) by writing posts and moderating comments and private messages

– Develop and implement social media advertising strategies

– Assist in writing the organization’s monthly newsletter

– Participate in the creation of a Facebook page for OC Magazine and in the sending of the newsletter

– Participate in the development of content for the organization’s website and put it online

– Monitor the Google Ad Grant and help improve it

– Actively collaborate in the realization of various promotional strategies for the organization’s activities as well as various campaigns and specific projects

– Create statistical reports for social media, the newsletter and the website

Requirements

• Possess a post-secondary degree in communications or a relevant field (or significant work experience related to the position)
• Excellent knowledge and interest in social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), community management and content creation.
• Excellent mastery of the various tools required to optimize the web presence, the WordPress platform and Mailchimp
• Graphic design skills and mastery of graphic design software (Adobe suite, for example)

Knowledge of Google Analytics
