As Canada’s largest provider of integrated community healthcare services, CBI Health Group is dedicated to improving the health and enriching the lives of Canadians. What sets us apart is our ability to work as a unified network dedicated to the ongoing learning that allows us to foster best practices, improve access to care and create better results for our patients. Our national network includes over 12,000 healthcare and support professionals across Canada.

Reporting to the National Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist will predominately lead full life cycle recruitment efforts for our Rehabilitation clinics within Ontario but will also act as backup to our dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist in Quebec.  In this role, you will be working closely with all stakeholders to understand the needs of the business, while collaborating with your HR colleagues and peers to identify and attract great talent, and ultimately deliver the best client and candidate experience.  This is an exceptional opportunity for a resourceful and experienced Talent Acquisition professional who enjoys a challenge, likes diversity in their work, and has the ability to strategically source talent at all levels.

This role will be primarily home based but could require some travel to clinics across the region in the future, post COVID era.

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

  • Collaborate with the business and HR/TA leaders to develop regional recruitment strategies and ensure flawless execution with the support of all stakeholders
  • Plan and lead full life cycle recruiting for roles including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, kinesiologists, psychologists, speech language pathologists, administrators and other professionals
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders and equip them with the knowledge and tools they need to support the hiring process
  • Provide an advisory approach to talent acquisition – ensure the entire process delivers a positive experience for hiring managers and candidates through effective coaching, planning, communication and delivery of outcomes
  • Proactively source talent by leveraging social media and other online networks to identify and attract qualified “great fit” candidates
  • Identify hard-to-fill roles and develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract new talent
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for hard to fill roles – keep them engaged
  • Screen, interview, and short list candidates for hiring managers and ensure all interviews are scheduled accordingly
  • Provide hiring managers with regular weekly status updates on hiring progress and adjust the strategy as required
  • Identify, share and implement best practices and trends in talent acquisition
  • Work collaboratively with Clinical Talent Ambassadors on sourcing initiatives
  • Provide regular reporting and metrics to all appropriate stakeholders
  • Plan and lead all campus recruitment efforts in the region and act as the lead for student placement coordination
  • Be a brand ambassador and promote CBI as an employer of choice online and all appropriate forums/events

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful

  • A university degree is required
  • An HR designation is considered an asset
  • Experience in Healthcare is preferred
  • 2-3 years of full life cycle talent acquisition experience in a corporate environment
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written, in both English and French, preferred

  • A collaborative approach – a strong team player
  • Proven organization and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
