The Employment Help Centre (EHC) is a not for profit charitable organization funded by Ministry of Training Colleges & Universities to deliver Employment Ontario programs and services within Niagara West. The Employment Help Centre is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to work under the general supervision of the Executive Director, to provide professional services to the staff and clients of the Employment Help Centre in accordance with policies established by the Employment Help Centre, Board of Directors and its funding bodies.
In addition to performing Human Resource Generalist duties and functions, in this position you will be required to oversee the organizations Benefits Administration, Health & Wellness programs, Policy Development, Recruitment & Onboarding, and Volunteer Coordination.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skills:
- 3 to 5 years Human Resource Generalist experience
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources, or related field
- Equivalent related experience in social services or related field
- A valid driver’s licence and be insured for employment travel and have access to reliable transportation for the purpose of inter-office travel .
The successful candidate will promote privacy and maintain a high level of confidentiality, be responsible for timely and accurate recordkeeping, maintaining personnel files, preparing reports, and be well organized.
